Terms of Sale

Melody House sells digital MIDI files (.mid) — chord progressions, basslines, and melodies you download and use in your own music. No physical goods are shipped.

When your payment is received, we grant you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the MIDI files you purchased in your own musical works, including:

• Commercial releases on any streaming or download platform.
• Sync licensing (film, TV, games, advertising, social media).
• Live performance and broadcast.
• Editing, transposing, and modifying the MIDI freely.

You do NOT need to credit Melody House and no royalties are owed.

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the raw .mid files, whether alone or bundled into another sample or MIDI pack.
• Share your download link or account credentials with anyone else.
• Upload the raw MIDI files to a stock-music library, AI training dataset, or file-sharing service.
• Claim authorship of the MIDI compositions in their original, unedited form.

These restrictions survive any refund or account deletion.

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and include any applicable taxes calculated at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your purchase is complete when Stripe confirms the payment and your download becomes available in your account.

Delivery is immediate and electronic. As soon as your payment clears, your MIDI download appears in the Downloads section of your account and is available to download at any time.

Because MIDI files are digital and cannot be "returned", refunds are offered as a courtesy and not as a right. You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the file is broken, mislabelled, or seriously not as described. Email support@yourmelodyhouse.com with your order ID and a short description of the problem. If we approve the refund, we will refund to the original payment method and revoke access to the file.

Under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content that is not on a tangible medium once performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.

By ticking the consent box at checkout, you:

• Expressly request that the MIDI file be delivered to you immediately after payment;
• Consent to the performance of the contract beginning before the 14-day withdrawal period ends; and
• Acknowledge that, once the download becomes available in your account, you lose the right of withdrawal for that file.

The courtesy refund window in section 6 above is unaffected by this waiver.

The MIDI files are provided "as is". Melody House is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the files. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's country of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
