Royalty-free MIDI license

When you download a MIDI file from Melody House you get a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that file in your own musical productions.

• Use the MIDI in commercial releases, singles, EPs, and albums.
• Use it in streams (Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) — no royalties owed to us.
• Use it in sync licensing (film, TV, ads, games, trailers).
• Edit, transpose, split, layer, and rearrange the MIDI freely — assign it to any instrument you like.
• Use it in client work and paid production work.

• Resell, redistribute, or share the raw .mid files as-is, in any form or bundle.
• Repackage the files into another MIDI pack, sample pack, template, or preset library.
• Register the MIDI (or a trivially edited version) as your own composition with a content ID, sample-ID, or copyright registration service in a way that would flag other buyers' tracks.
• Sublicense the files to another party.

No credit required. Always appreciated, never expected.

Melody House retains ownership of the MIDI compositions themselves. You own the finished musical work you create using them.

The MIDI files are provided "as is". We make no guarantee that they will fit any specific purpose. If a file is corrupt or missing, contact support and we'll replace it.
